1891 and 1901 census for Benjamin Andrews

Could I please ask for a lookup in 1891, and 1901 census for Benjamin Andrews he would be 46 his wife was Elizabeth and she would be 43 he was born Goole as were all the children and they had the following children in the 1881 census at Hook, York Martha was 13, Benjamin 10, Mary 8, Horatio 6, Harriett 4, Joseph was 5 months, I also know that they had a son William born in 1882 at Goole.

Thank you very much, I am now looking for William who was 8 in 1891. Is he on the 1901 census? he came to Australia before 1913. I know that he married Catherine Reddie Whithead, I can not find a marriage for them here in Australia but they had a daughter Kathleen born in Sydney in 1913.

Well I searched for William Andrews in the 1901 census but couldn't find a candidate that stood out as your William. This looks like his birth record...

.. so he doesn't have a middle name.

I'll have another search for him tomorrow evening, unless someone finds him in the meantime.

I also looked at passenger lists but again nothing stood out. I only have access to passenger lists for those embarking from England and not for those disembarking in Australia; so perhaps some other forum members could have a look.

I know that he married Catherine Reddie Whithead, I can not find a marriage for them here in Australia but they had a daughter Kathleen born in Sydney in 1913.

You say you can't find his marriage. Do you know where his wife was born?

I thank you for your help, his wife was Catherine Reddie/Reddy Whithead and she was born 1875 Limkilns, Fifeshire Sct and I believe that her parents were Thomas Whithead and Christian Stark.

So have you looked for the marriage in Scotland?

On ScotlandsPeople (paysite) there's an index entry for a marriage in 1911 of William ANDREWS and Catherine WHITEHEAD (note spelling). You would have to purchase a few units to see the details.
