    Smile Victualler and London Metro Archives question

    i was wondering if anybody knows what sort of info is held at the London Metro Archives about Victuallers, my GG Grandfather ran afew pubs in his life he ran the Station Hotel in Hertfordshire, lived with his Uncle and Aunt who ran the 'Old Leather Bottle' in Bedfordshire, worked in a pub called 'The Hope' and ran a pub on York Way in Middlesex called "The City of London", one on Drummond St called the "Lion and Lamb" and one called 'The Pitmas Arms' on Ironmonger Row.

    As you don't give dates, it's hard to advise. But have a read of this LMA Information Leaflet (.pdf file).
