The address in the spectacles case can be found in the 1911 census at RG14/23547 SN328 (reference to census held at TNA). The name of the head of the household may be pure coincidence - or possibly may turn out to be related?
The fob which has the two stars bearing flower designs, is difficult to make out, but appears to have the initials 'FA' - unless some can read see it more clearly - do the intials mean anything?

Hi Windmill, I just looked at your medal pictures. Has anybody suggested that the ribbons have been crossed over?
The rainbow ribbon should be on the Victory Medal and the blue, white and orange ribbon on the British War Medal (silver).

Thanks for the 1911 reference i will take a look when i have some credit. What a shame you cannot see the fob more clearly lots of lovely engraving. As of yet i have not come across anyone with
the initials 'FA' but will keep a look out for them.
Thanks for looking

Thanks for letting me know. Because this is how they were found we presumed that they we correct. They must have been
changed over in the past.
