From the marriage lines Sarahs Father was John..a shoemaker.
Baptised on July 14th ,1837 was Jane Farmer, b.Mar 11th 1827 to John Farmer a shoemaker & Jane Abbott at St.Peters Walworth.
Baptised on the same day was Sarah Farmer b.May 30th to John Farmer Shoemaker & Jane Abbott at St.Peters Walworth Southwark
I haven't been able to follow these people to 1841 with certainty as time is short for me just now. Perhaps they are the correct Family, I hope so for you. If not maybe someone else can find them.
Has it been established who was the Mother of Joseph Rolph? One such likely candidate is with Joseph Rolph aged 9 in 1841 b. Middlesex- living in the parish of Hadley (Barnet)? Mother Martha 40,..Siblings: Eizabeth 15.. Robert 16..Ann 13...Mary 11...& William 7.
1851 Still together Martha a widow..shoe binder..
HO107; Piece: 1701; Folio: 194; Page: 49; (Crown copywrite TNA)
1861 Martha & Mary Ann
RG9; Piece: 788; Folio: 12; Page: 16 (Crown copywrite TNA)
Again perhaps this is not the correct Family. There were deaths for a Joseph Rolph in berkhampstead in 1851 & earlier. 20+ miles from Barnet.Happy Families

Taking this a bit further, Sarah's birth is recorded in the register as 30 May 1829, so Waitabit's find looks encouraging. The family lived in Monmouth Place.
Here's a possible 1841 census for Sarah ...
HO107/1051 book 9 folio 15 page 22
Nunhead Green, Peckham, St Giles Camberwell
William Bennett 25 Farmer N (not born in county)
Abigail Bennett 25 N
George Bennett 55 Labourer N
George Bennett 1 Y
William Johnson 20 Male S(ervant) N
Sarah Farmer 12 F(emale) S(ervant) Y
Here's a possible 1841 for Sarah FARMER's family, not far away in Newington. Unfortunately no occupation is stated for John, but for what it's worth there's a Bootmaker living next door ...
1841 census
HO107/1064 book 4 folio 8 page 8
Trafalgar Place, St Mary Newington
John Farmer 50 N
Jane Farmer 35 N
Jane Farmer 14 N
Mary Farmer 9 N
Elizabeth Farmer 6 N
Hannah Farmer 3 Y
To support this being the same family, there's a baptism at St Mary Newington on 29 Jun 1838 for Hannah, born 15 May 1838, to John and Jane Abbott PALMER of 9 Monmouth Place, Shoe Maker. This seems likely to be the same family. Perhaps the surname PALMER is an error for FARMER (similar sound?).

hi well a lot more on sarah many thanks but joseph well when he married sarah farmer in 1860 at st giles camberwell it appears to stae that both of their fathers were alive well they are not put as deceased on the marriage certificate. and all i have to go on is the census from 1871 sayin he was 34yrs old and born in barnet with dads name joseph it stats that his father was a labourer. i m desperate to figure out where this man came from his son is my ggrandfather and would like to put this to rest // lots of heart filled thanks for you guys finding my grandmother as i now know where she is buried and am waiting to hear off any kin that may still be alive as i would love to know what she looked like

Ruala, don't believe absolutely in the stated 'Deceased' or not on certificates. It's very often wrong. My most recent states Father deceased when he was not. There are times when a Family has drifted apart & the children don't really know one way or the other.
Then there is always the Family 'rift' when the Parent is 'dead' to the child, tho' not in reality. Sometimes perhaps the clergy person doesn't ask or hear the reply....many errors in names also occur on certificates particularly when the Parent died in the Groom or Brides early childhood.
Keep believing Lass, You'll rest them yet.
Happy Families
