    Default anything on blacksmiths?

was wondering if anyone could suggest a social history book on blacksmiths? have traced a line of xg-grandfathers all farriers / smiths in middlesex. I've got back to the 1770s and the last one died in the workhouse in 1870s. I'd love to know more about their trade and how it changed during that time. Many thanks!
