mccorden here. I am just starting into this line of interest. I live in North Queensland. My parents have passed away and being the youngest in the family have little information about my forebears, so have to decided to find out for myself.

I am wanting to keep focused at this stage on finding a time line for my paternal grandfather and possibly his parents. This is partially because of the relatively uncommon surname (Corden). The other side of my family have Williamson and Johnston. So I'll stick with Corden for now.

I am looking to see exactly when he was born, when he trained as an Anglican clergyman at Emmanuel College and then when he left for Canada, in the end heading for Saskatoon around 1906. I also want to find out when he first arrived in Melbourne. Did he ever make a return to England. This might show if he travelled to Australia from Vancouver or from Liverpool.
