some ancestors were listed as being buried at St Dunstan West or on the west? London. I know theres a church there but can't find anything about a cemetary.
this is one I am searching for, Thomas Dutton 1762-1848 born Fleet St, London? married Sarah Kingdom 1772-1861. I can find a marriage for them or Sarah's death or where she was buried.
he was a watchmaker on Fleet St, trying to remember if it was him or his father William who were in partnership with Thomas Mudge, must have been his father.

Hi,
I'm not sure whether you can or cannot find their marriage? Is 'I can find a marriage for them or Sarah's death or where she was buried' a typing mistake, did you mean to say 'I can't'?
I have found their marriage, but it's not clear whether you already have it.

In that case, here's details of the marriage.
Thomas Dutton, bachelor, of the parish of St Dunstan in the West, to Sarah Kingdom, spinster, of the parish of St Mary Newington in county Surrey, married by licence at St Dunstan in the West, 1/11/1794. The witnesses were A. Buchanon and Mary Saintenoy

There is this burial record, but it's a year later than the date of death you have.
Sarah Dutton, buried 15/2/1862, aged 90, at Norwood cemetery, Norwood Road, Lambeth, Surrey.

Is the marriage the right one?
Please can you say where you got the year of death for Sarah Dutton?

Hi,
I've searched the GRO indexes and there isn't a death for a Sarah Dutton in 1861. The only near one I can find is: Sarah Dutten (a mistranscription?) Jan - Mar 1862, Lambeth, vol 1d page 271.

Alliejaye, please don't be influenced by others trees. There's lots of trees out there which are full of wrong information. Unless the trees you find have documented evidence to support their (the owners) find, then they are for you worthless.
If you'd like us here on Brit - Gen to try to support your finds; tell us a little more and we will see if we can help. At the moment it doesn't seem you have definite information. How about giving us information from a generation forward, or any generation you have definite information on and we'll see what we can find. It bothers me when members could be tracing wrong ancestors, as it does other members, and we truly would like to help you to be on the right path.
