AdeleE’s a Canadian member, who doesn’t need very much sleep,
The hours that she spends here on B-G must make her family weep,
She works in a museum some days, and often can find what is hidden
In places we never would think of – she always gives great help when bidden.
Our Geoffers he does love his cricket, he’s a “tuch typist extrawdinaire”,
Wills, Army, Navy and Norfolk, he could sit in the Mastermind chair
On all of these subjects and much more, as his thousands of postings will show,
And if we Mods are stuck for an answer, we are wont to say “Geoffers will know”.
Now Heather’s a little bit quieter, though you can see that she keeps out an Eye
For the forum when Britain is sleeping – to wish all those spammers goodbye.
She knows quite a lot about IT, she’s our expert on all things Jamaican,
I’m sure if you ask her a question she’ll try hard to bring home the bacon.
Jan1954, known as Daft Bat, can blarney non stop with the best,
She helps out at fairs, exhibitions and open days with Parish Chest,
When not earning a crust, or on B-G, you can find her outdoors, rain or shine
With a Labrador puppy called Henry – his pictures are now here on line.
If you need to know ‘owt about London, then Kerrywood probably knows
Where the records are kept and how early the doors of the offices close.
Her postings are always so useful, her ‘Thanks’ count amazingly high,
And if she does not know the answer, she’ll give you some pointers to try.
Ladkyis is a long serving member who lives on the South Coast of Wales,
She acts as Gwent FHS chairman, her commitment to that never fails.
She loves scrap-booking, crafts and blogging, whenever she gets the chance
And descends from an actress called Nathan, who led her a right merry dance.
Mark J is a true son of Cornwall, and loves to be out on the fell,
He’s a bit of a computer techie, so speaks Kernow and Linux as well,
He’s got bats in his attic (real ones), but never gets into a flap,
He’s looking for Trenerry worldwide, but lots of his research is Crapp!
Our Mutley’s a London lass really, but lives in the sunny Algarve
Where she rescues some tired old donkeys and makes sure they never will starve.
She gives us a smile with her humour, her kindness and help know no bounds,
She’ll let fly at brick walls with gusto – her stamina simply astounds!
Neil Wilson was an RAF policeman, he now keeps us members in check,
So please keep your postings in order, or poor Neil will end up a wreck.
He knows about Derby and Nottingham, and can plan out a website dead quick,
Like Mark he will help with your queries on why your computer is sick.
Procat is an Australian member who looks after our ‘upside down’ friends,
To newbies and old hands together, his help and his care never ends.
He isn’t a cat lover really, his username shows he’s been here
Since TNA catalogue was PROCAT – oh, and he does like a beer!
Sue Mackay is descended from settlers who went to the Cape of Good Hope,
And transcribes lots of Cape files and records, which offers her plenty of scope
For days out at Kew with her camera; she’s a New Orleans Saints football fan,
She plays croquet when not doing research, and helps on B-G when she can.

I do keep a low profile, think of it this way, made Sues' poetic musings a little shorter. I'm helpful like that.

Oh what a dashingly lovely poem!
Our moderators, why you only need to ask 'em
Though my searchs often stretch to Denmark
They frequently end up in London I should remark
True, I'm a fairly new, erm, newcomer here
But already I've learnt lots here no fear
Thanks to you all my Family Searching's improved
And the old Family Tree's truly pruned
With inaccurate info discarded daily
And correct info smoothed like Bailey

Wow, what a great lot you've got Bo! I feel I know all the Mods that much better, thanks to Sue.
