    Default Winifred Harrison's Passport

I am hoping this will be of help to someone - while reading my local paper I came across a printed version of an Irish passport for a Winifred Harrison, who came to the States (specifically Lowell, Massachusetts) circa 1924. The paper shows the passport photo of Winifred and her signature and some general information such as her birth date of 1907. I'm not sure if this is the correct spot to put this, but I thought there might be someone in Ireland or England who may be looking for her. Never hurts to try!

Might be classed as a stray, but nevertheless information such as this, might just help someone looking. Not my ancestor but a great find anyway
Sadly, our friend Vanessa, passed away 29th. February 2012.

You are right Vanessa. a lovely find. Thanks to Beachbaby for posting it, I don't remember having one before.

I altered the title from Winifred Harrison Passport to Winnifred Harrison's Passport, just a subtle change, but being a bit thick,
I first thought her surname was Passport.

I did also consider moving it to Strays, and am happy to do so, but then thought Winifred maybe better off staying in Ireland where she came from.

If anyone thinks Winifred should sit better elsewhere, please say so....

Thanks for the input - as I say, I wasn't sure where it belonged and figured that mightier minds than my own would take care of any problem (). Thanks for changing the title, it is what I originally intended doing, but of course my fingers had minds of their own.

Again, I never know if someone out there may have seen it and said, holy moley - that's great aunt Winnie!!!

    Ya neva know!
