    Default help with editing thread

    Good morning moderator,

I posted this morning on the thread St Andrew Ham, and immediately tried to edit it as the formatting is impossible to read however once done the thread would not post and when I tried to go back to it it informed me my 10 minutes was up. Can I please add the formatting as it's just a jumble of words otherwise.

    Thanks
    Jan

    Hi Jan,

I presume this is the thread to which you refer?

It appears you have made a second post to correct the formatting problem so all is now solved?

    Thanks Doug

Yes, I made a second post - I had hubby breathing down my neck to get on with the gardening.

    Thanks anyway

I think hubby needs to re-assess priorities.

I have noticed clicking save on the 'quick edit' just sits there and does nothing. On the couple of posts I have edited, I have had to go to advanced edit, and submit it from there.

Correct. The Quick Edit function is currently broken and, as you say, you need to use the Advanced Edit. This has been broken since the forum was upgraded a few weeks ago and hopefully will be fixed in a patch at some point in the near future.
