I have found two short notes in my late Fathers papers which mention his Mother being at Freiburg Convent, Germany. She was half German. I am sure this must have been pre WWI, so I can only think that this was part of her education.
I am surprised as I have always been under the impression that our family were all protestants. Would a protestant girl be allowed to study there? Did this place even have a school? If the answers are yes, would this have been for a fee? My family were hardly wealthy.
Any help would most welcome.
