Dutton, Allen & Co.'s Dir. Oxon. (1863)I'm interested to know who the Dutton of Dutton & Allen was!

There is a digital copy of the book on Google Books. Dutton, Allen & Co are described as located at 13 Oxford Street Manchester.
Another digital book on Google Books mentions the person who owns the company: " A A Dutton" .Adele

Ah, thanks Adele, that's helpful - although a bit disappointing! As the directory was about Oxfordshire, I was rather hoping that it was produced by one of my Oxfordshire Duttons rather than one of the as-yet-unlinked Cheshire branch!
