Just wondered if the brains on here could help with my Aunt's query.
My Aunt is trying to locate the Confirmation certificate of my Uncle's confirmation - having gone through all his possessions she can't find it although is sure one was given to him. Here's the outline.
My Uncle was confirmed on the morning of his wedding to my Aunt. They were married in the State of Qatar in the Persian Gulf.
My Uncle's confirmation was conducted on the morning of their wedding by the Archbishop of Jerusalem having received his special permission as theirs was the first Christian marriage to take place in the State.
I wondered if there was any way to get a copy of his confirmation certificate or document. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Liane - try the following:

Not sure of your dates - but it says they had a permanent presence from 1970.
They may have the record you want.

Hi Bertie
Thanks for that. I will email them to see if they can help. The dates I am after is 1955 but maybe they can point me in the right direction.
Thanks again
Liane
