    Default Kenneth Mervyn REISS-SMITH & JONES

    Can anyone help?

    I have a marriage for Mervyn K Reiss-Smith & Jones Q3 1942 (Plymouth 5b 762) but have not been able to find the christian name or any other details of "Miss Jones" the 'find spouse' on Ancestry finds nothing.
    Curiously the birth record is listed as Kenneth Mervin Reiss-Smith b 24/11/1904 (Devonport 5b 313)

    Enid E JONES according to the index.

    The sure and certain method is to obtain a copy of the certificate.

    Incidentally, FreeBMD is complete for 1942 marriages so you could use their superior search facilities.

    Thank you Peter. did not realise BMD was complete for that year and found them there! Kenneth was 1st cousin once removed, just wanted so save the cost of a marriage cert.
