Where does one go to search Parish registers?
My grandmother Esther Elizabeth was born in June 7/1893 Baswick Stafford
She was married to George Mather Hutchinson Bowey July 17/1917 as St Thomas Walton church near Stafford Berkswich (K??)
Father's name was Alfred Henry White and her mother's Ellen Anne Birch.
Where I can search records for more information??
Wendy

Some are on line at PPV sites.
Some are on CD and for sale from companies like our own Parish Chest. (Click the tree logo at the bottom of the page).
Family History Societies have normally transcribed the records for their counties.
Take a look at Genuki they have information relating to where you can find records for each county.

Not sure why this is on the Berkshire County thread. Surely it should be on the Staffs thread?

I did wonder about that myself Tony but not knowing Staffs I have left it in case, in case of what, I am still unsure. Posters sometimes get the hump if we move their threads as they know what they mean even if we don't.
Wendy if you want this thread moved to Staffs, I can change the title and do it for you.
