Bitton
Many thanks for that, I was thinking yet again about my illusive Gt Granfather who originated from Hereford, thats my only excuse for the wrong post or a senior person moment.
And yes I know it is in Gloucester, but it is not listed in the index for 1861.
But it is in 1841, so I was wondering if they had moved the boundery lines and it was called something else by 1861.
Many thanks for your help. and sorry again about the wrong post.

Thankyou for your reply, I did find them on Ancestry in 1861 in Somerset.
I was doing a lookup for someone who couldn't find them.
I did find them in Bitton Gluocester in 1841.
So I have learnt something else, not to rely on boundarys.
Many thanks
