    Was told about this site today - very interesting about the old parts of Thornbury. Still a work in progress as they haven't got my parents house on there yet - I think it counts as old as it was modernised in 1770 .

    Also a link to another site with S Gloucestershire records - http://www.scribes-alcove.co.uk/index.html which seems to have quite a selection of stuff.

    Shame it's only my brother who was born in Thornbury - all the rest of the family are from Staffordshire and Yorkshire

    What a super site, Salcat, makes me wish I had ancestors from Thornbury but alas mine were mostly born in Yorkshire.
