    Default Arnold family of Cambridge

My father Cyril John Arnold had roots in Cambridge over a long period it seems and an ancestor born in Australia as a diversion. Is any else researching this line?

I am a bit confused, since the only replies you seem to have had to your two 2010 threads were all on the other thread ('Stevens of Basford'). The 'Arnold of Cambridge' thread was originally on the Surname Interests board so would have been closed down soon after you posted it, making it impossible for anyone to reply. It is possible that people may have sent you private messages about the Arnolds, so it may be worth checking your Inbox in case they are there.

We had better start from scratch with the Arnolds. Could you please tell us what you already know about the family? (For example, when and where your father was born, his parents' names, and so on.) Then the forum sleuths can get to work.

    Hi Arnold

I noticed that Olliecat was previously helping you to find your missing threads. There were no replies to this particular thread so I can only assume that the people who replied to you did so elsewhere.

There is a very easy way to see which threads you are subscribed to. Look along the blue bar at the top of the page (just below the tree). You will see the words Quick Links. Click on this and in the drop down box that appears the very first option is Subscribed Threads. Simply click on this and it will take you to a page which will show you all the threads that you have started so you can then browse each one and check your replies.

I must stress on you however that the more information you give us about your ancestors the easier it will be for us to help you.
