I have Henry Coe, a farrier, b.1815 Camberwell single on 1841 census living with mother.
On 1851 census he is married ? with Sarah wife and 1st child born about 1842.
Only marriage I can find is for 1837 Camberwell that has Henry Coe and a Sarah ? on the same page.
Clash of dates here !
Is it possible to check that this is right marriage ? Without spending on several copies of certificates to find the correct one ?

Are there no birth certificates of any of the children available? This is the usual route to the mother's maiden name.

This may be one of them
Births Mar 1851 Coe Eliza Tucker Newington 4 449
Also there might just be a great big clue in that name! Or there might not, of course.

Can you please provide the 1851 census reference so that we all know what family you're talking about.

The birth and baptism details with father Henry (Farrier) and mother Sarah are in London, England, Births and Baptisms, 1813-1906 via Ay for Eliza Tucker COE and Henry Harry COE. Doesn't help with Sarah's maiden name but ensure that you get the right birth cert.

Hi Peter,
Eliza Tucker Coe is my ancestor. She married Joseph Peter (or Peter Joseph) O'Hennessy and I still carry the O'Hennessy.

Hi Peter,
1841 census HO; 107; 1052
1851 census HO; 107; 1567
Eliza Tucker Coe birth cert' to be sent for.
Was hoping some-one might have already worked on this family ?
I am working on a small pension and each month allocate a certificate or a month on a family tree site.
Thanks.

I think the census references should be -
1841: HO 107/1052/4 f 56 p 12
1851: HO 107/1567 f 790 p 25
You could leave out the page number at a pinch but you should include the folio number. The 1841 census additionally requires the book number.
It's good that you're ordering the birth certificate. That should answer the question although it may well raise others
