    Default William Wilcox, signalman

this post could be in brick walls as i can find no trace of William Wilcox, born Northleach, Gloucestershire (about 1872) on the census-havent tried 1911 yet. He is the son of Isaac Wilcox and i have only found the family on the 1881 census living at Eastington, Gloucs. Daughter Rose Agnes Wilcox was born in 1905 at Water Orton(Dawlish Cottages) with her father recorded as a signalman and when she marries in 1929 at Bourneville he is still recorded as a railway signalman. Williams wife was Rose Wilcox who also remains elusive. I would love to find out more about his time with the railways and/or he and his family on the census.

These will almost certainly be at the National Archives at Kew (look under RAIL in the catalogue)
