Default Amy Hale, Born 1872, North Nibley

I am trying to find any information on Amy. The usual searchers of BDM records have not been helpful
Amy was the 5th child of Francis Hale (b1839 (North Nibley) and Sybil Webb (b1843 Wotton Under Edge).
Other children , all born at North Nibley were
Jane Elizabeth (Born and Died 1865),
    Albert (B1867),
Elizabeth ( Born 1868, Married Charles Edward Hill , my Grandparents),
    Annie b1871, ?married John Seabourne
    Ernest Frank ( Born 1874 Died 1893)
Percy b1877. ?married Minnie Lillian Pritchard

Any information on any of these children would be very welcome.

There is an Amy Hale born 1st Quarter of 1872 registered at Thornbury Vol 6a page 223.Although the nearest registration district was Dursley I cannot find an Amy listed there.Thornbury is about 18km sw of Dursley as the crow flies.

    Hello Rhill

I’m not sure how much you know already but she appears, age 9, on the 1881 Census at Church House, North Nibley, confirming pattenwalsh’s find.

On the 1891 Census there is also an Amy Hale, age 20, Domestic Servant, living at Springfield, Minchinhampton which is only a relatively short distance from North Nibley. In this entry she gives her place of birth as Newport, Glos but it could be her as no other Amy Hale’s appear on FreeBMD in the early 1870s.

Are you aware of these? And have you seen this? halefamily.net/births2.html#nibl (just put http:// in front – no www).

    Default Thank you

Thank you to everyone who has looked up information on Amy Hale. I should have mentioned that I have done quite a lot of research for Amy and all the family and had found census records and her birth record along with records for her siblings.
I have death certificates for her parents and her brother Ernest Frank.
However I cannot find marriage records for Albert and Amy. I have applied for a marriage record - William Nash but unfortunately this was not my Amy. The other shred of information I have is that when my parents visited the Uk in the early 1970's they visited Wotton Under Edge and found the house where Amy had lived with her husband. The house was described as being almost on the doorstep of the Anglican church.... ?Church House
The other information I have is that she was a domestic servant to the Playne family. I have found an Amy Hale in the 1891 census as a parlor maid with the Playne family at Minchinhampton, but the birth date and the place of birth don't quite match.
Any help with further information would be greatly appreciated.
