Found out that some of my ancestors used to run this place. Does anyone know anything about the history of the pub or know of any photos of it in the late 1800's?

Hllo Zen,
I have had a look on the internet, but have not been able to see anything that would answer your question.
However, what you could do is find out if it is a Managed Pub or Freehouse. If the former, find out which brewery owns it and contact their archives. If the latter, find out which brewery last owned the pub and contact their archives.
It might also pay to contact the Shropshire Archives, by telephone or email, to see what records they have.

You could look at this one & imagine it without the paint job.

You'll find plenty of information about your ancestors and about the pub by searching the licensing records at the county record office.Does anyone know anything about the history of the pub?Peter Goodey

visited the records office at Shrewsbury and found that two inquests had been held at the pub! Good stuff.
