    I see. It seems that he was misrepresenting his status when he married. If you want to get to the bottom of it, I'm afraid I can't think of an alternative to asking for a search.

    Hello again Peter, Thank you for replying, I have managed at least to keep the cost down - I know they lived around the Bristol area & the Bristol court charge £40 (the saved £20 will pay for a further 2 certs of some sort!)
