    Default Nursing records

My father's half-sister, Ethel Irene Primrose Garrad (1907 - 1970) was a nurse specialising in Mental Health.
She ended up as Matron in a Mental Hospital in Sussex.

I have found that she qualified in Bristol in the late 1920's, and also did some training at Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham.
But then the trails runs cold.

How can I find out her career history?

    Cheers,

    Kevin

I don't know if the Sussex Hospital still exists. You could try them.
The National Archives may have some information

There are some records kept at the National Archives, Check with them. I know that because my bored husband looked at them once when I had gone for something else.
