Default Problem saving images on Family Search Pilot?

I’ve noticed a couple of threads where people have been unable to save images they have found on the Family Search Pilot website.
    1. View the image.
    2. Click ‘Save’ on the bar above the image.
    3. In the filename requester, enter the filename followed by a (dot) and an appropriate graphics filename extension. i.e. (.Jpg) (.gif) (.png) etc…
For example to save the image in Jpeg format - in the filename requester enter:
    Imagename.jpg

Or to save the image in gif format enter:
    Imagename.gif

Hopefully, someone will find this useful.

    Hi Ronone

Hopefully, someone will find this useful.

I think I would find it useful, if only I ever found an entry that I wanted! Every time I try I either get nothing, or something totally useless like there is an entry in a cenus, but no information about where, or who else is there etc.

The information in post #1 is also relevant to the new Family Search site (previously Family Search Beta) which uses the same image viewer.
