Hi,my name is sandra louise gillott and i am a new member to this site.I am a mother to 2 boys daniel aged 18 and brandon-lee aged 15.I have always wanted to do my family tree but never got around to it.As my boys are now growing up fast i thought it was time i started my family tree.

Hi Sandra and Welcome. Start with as much info on your own family as you can, and work backwards. Amazing how that tree not only grows bigger but wider as well. It can be an incredible journey but a frustrating one, but so enjoyable when it all comes together. You have come to the right place in order to gather all the info that you need just take it slowly, cos once this lot get in there, there is no stopping them. Good luck with your research and sure we all look forward to your 1st post.....Colin
