Well, we're now back from a busy and enjoyable day at Sunderland - via the fish & chip shop We normally only have fish & chips when returning from a fair so that's an enjoyable treat as well

There were no real peaks & troughs during the day, just a steady stream of people coming to chat - and to buy - most of the day.

This was apparently the second Sunderland Fair, the first having been held two years ago. Hopefully its success means it will be repeated in another two years - or even next year
