Hi all
a friend has asked me to help him with his family history, he has the PICTON from around 1750 onwards in Poyston or Poynton in Pembroke Wales, is there a society that covers that area.

Thank you Neil and Bo
will have a look straight away, my friend, future son-inlaw, thinks he is related to Sir Thomas Picton.

Hello
Have you googled the name? Have a look....you may have a ready made pedigree
Also there is extensive reading on books.google.uk

Hi geneius
yes I have googled the name and the person in question died at the battle of Waterloo, he was the highest ranked casualty, but its the rest of his family before and after to see if there is a link to my son-inlaw to be, by the way his name is Paul Thomas, heres hoping.
