    Just looked through and yes i have got that information im afraid,its William who i was struggling with 1878

    The trouble with the Coote's they all loved to name people after one another so makes it more difficult lol

    Only William found for that birth year was in London as a vistor to a John Bolt. Does that mean anything to you...........Colin

    There was a William Coot Born 1878 Hemel Hempstead....
    1881 was with his parents Joseph and Elizabeth Source Citation: Class: RG11; Piece: 1445; Folio: 79; Page: 13
    1891 was with parents....Source Citation: Class: RG12; Piece: 1125; Folio 64; Page 10

    Then thats all i had on him

    Sorry Belinda. Should have said only one found on the 1901 census was a William aged 23 with a Family headed by John Bolt, does Mr Bolt figure anywhere in the family.

    Found a William Coot death in 1918 in WW2 was in a unit in North Hants. Is that the same area for Hemel Hemstead.................Colin
