I have this down in the marriage record of my Grandfather, does anyone know what a Sandpaperer is/was? I know its something to do with wood as all the family were involved with wood from the year "dot".

According to /www.wakefieldfhs.org.uk/morayweb/Scottish Occupation" "Another name for a French Polisher"

Thanks John, that is very kind of you, seems my Grandfather did lots of things started off as a Sandpaperer, then moved on to Merchant Seaman, then in Australia became a farm labourer, and then a solider in the AIF.
