Mary Ann Payne Mystery !

My other mystery is Mary Ann Payne , she appears on the 1881 Census as being 9 years old born Tottenhill .But this is the only time ive found her !,
I havent found her birth or her Baptism , all the children ive found for the family so far were Baptised at All Saints Church , North Runcton..
Her parents would be Abraham Payne born 1833 North Runcton & Maria born 1838 East Walton .At the time of her birth they would be living Tottenhill.

I would also be intrested if anybody else is or has researched the Payne family from this area ..

I've just looked at Google Earth and Tottenhill isn't far from Downham Market.

Yes M8 you are right Tottenhill is a small village outside Downham Market on the road to Kings Lynn..
So my next quest is to see were she went before 1891 , she could be married by then 19 y/o ?.

Hi Robin.
Oh that looks good ,
No ive only just started the Payne side of the family so all fresh to me to .I am at that point were i have notes jotted down everywere LOL.
It tends to be awkward compared to my other family tree as theres so many Payne's .
I am trying to get the main cor of the family correct which i think is the way to go.
If i check the 1901 for her with the surname Redington and the birth place is Tottenhill , it should be a winner ..
Still dont answer were she was 1891 but a thats the game...
