John Payne Marriage

Hi Everyone ,
Having a go at the Payne family and have got a few bits missing i would like to find if anybody is intrested in the West Norfolk Area .My first problem item is..
John Payne's marriage to a Alice Maud ? .
I would say they were married between 1889 -1891 time , as on 1891 Census they have a child under a year old and on 1911 Census it states they have been married 21 years.
John was born 1863 in Wormegay and was living Setchey in 1881 Census .
Alice Maud is down as born Grimston and dob on census is 1868 .
I would guess them to be married in the Downham Market to Kings Lynn area .
I did find 2 Alice Maud marriages on Ancestry which seem to be wrong they had the surname Cox & Lacey .
Any help with finding this marriage would be great , as it would be helpful to find Alice Maud's maiden name ..

Could this be him - Marriage Apr/May/Jun qr 1890 John Payne Mutford 4a 1427? is Mutford in norfolk though or Sufffolk? I couldn't find them on the census details either.

Yes i think Mutford is Suffolk , Beccles area i think ,
No Ancestry has that marriage down as a John Payne getting married to a Rosa or Susannah .
Thankyou for your efforts though .
It is difficult as there are lots of John Payne's just strange carnt find the right one !.
He lived in a small area his whole life .
Born Wormegay and lived arround the Kings Lynn area , Tottenhill , Setchey , Clenchwarton ,Wiggenhall St Germans , on Census then in 1911 he lived over the border at Gedney Drove End Lincolnshire and thats were he died registered Holbeach district .
Its a strange one !!!.

Free BMD has a marriage for John Payne to Alice Maud Bulman JQ 1887 - Norwich.
Could this be the one you're after? Don't know this area very well.

Hello Sparkle , thankyou for your help , this is the best ive found so far , but Norwich is a fair distance , ive had a quick peep and there is a Alice Bulman living in Gayton 1881 and thats close to were John was living , just strange the marriage being Norwich when all his brothers & sisters were married Kings Lynn or Downham Market ,,Urm.

If you check the scan on FreeBMD for Alice M MANN you will see that this entry has been handwritten at the bottom of the typewritten page.

Now, if you check the scan for Jane Alice Payne you will see that this entry handwritten (clearly) at the bottom of the typewritten page is John.

I have sent a correction for this entry.

Basically this entry should read:
Marriages Sep 1888
MANN Alice M - Walsingham 4b 440a
Payne John - Walsingham 4b 440a
