Hi everyone;
I'm looking to find out more about my great Grandfather, Hugh Wilding Cole. I know that Hugh emigrated to Newfoundland in the early 1900's, married Eva Munroe and sired my grandfather, Lionel H, my great uncle Harvey and my great aunt Ainslie.
I have no clues to his family, siblings, parents, etc.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Lionel B Wilding-Cole

Was his full name Hugh Henry Wilding Cole, I only ask as he is on a Canadian passage list in the 1930's and says he was in Canada before between 1905 and 1929. Wife is Eva, Sidcup.

Many thanks!!
Wow, you people are amazing and incredibly helpful! Thank you all so much!!
I believe my great-grandfather was indeed Hugh Henry Wilding-Cole so you've definitely set me on the right course. Also, my father's middle name was Norman, and now I see from where it derived.
Thanks again!
