Hello All
I'm in desperate need of some help regarding the parents of my G grandmother Alice Bailey
I was recently given a copy of her basptismal certificate
stating she was baptised at St Joseph's Cathedral Hazratgani Lucknow b 16th Dec 1879 and baptised 6th september 1881.Her parents are listed as Isaac and Lydia Bailey
Abode Eurasian, which seems a little odd
rank of profession No.1 which also seems a odd
We have always been led to believe that she was from Irish descent.
I would love to try to trace a marriage of her parents. I have checked FIBIS LDS and BL online but have not been successful.
does anyone have any ideas where I should look next.

Just got back from my holiday and what a lovely surprise to see your reply to a post sent about a year ago.
If you are able to check any parish records I would be most grateful.
A very helpful fellow lister found entries for their deaths. Apparently a lot of Parish records were destroyed in a fire around the time of the mutiny, but you may have some luck. Lydia died on 16th August 1888 aged 35
and Isaac 31st March 1893 aged 41, both deaths were recorded at St. Joseph's. I guess they probably married around 1870 or later. Any help would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance.
