John Bruce - Logie Pert ?

Hi,

Can anyone help me with this one ?

I'm trying to find the birth/marriage/death of another Bruce ancestor, named John.

He was married to Reid and they lived in Logie Pert. He might have been born circa 1750/60.
His first child Katherine Bruce was christened on 23 May 1779 in Logie Pert & his last known William christened in 1788. Another son Andrew b. 29 Mar 1786, is also proving difficult to track down .

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you discounted the John Bruce marriage on SP index 1778 Newtyle Angus (near Blairgowrie so not that close). Not to a Reid tho.

(I have Bruce ancestors too tho mine seem to have arrived via Ireland so absolutely impossible to trace...)
