Help uploading a photo please!

In the last few days I read a post that explained how to upload a photo into a posting but now I can't find it - should I have marked it as read or something? Anyhow I've got the photo on Photobucket and copied and pasted the link into my posting using the insert image icon but when I reviewed it I couldn't see the photo - just the link as I'd pasted it. Can some kind knowledgable person please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Can you paste the link or type it out so we can look at the link.

If you copy and past the IMG Code link (exactly as it is) [IMG] etc etc [IMG] to your post it should show the picture. Preview first. You do not need to use the image thingy on BG's toolbar.

What you see on your screen when you copy it to the post is just the link. It does not become the picture until you submit the post.
But.... the picture will show if you Preview Post first.

Now you need to do it again on a new thread and tell us what you want to know about the picture.
