Adrian,
Thanks for your reply, do you mind me asking your grandmothers name?
Our bowmans were george and Harriet (cinny) and they had a son Billy. Do u recognise any of these names?
My family lived in many diff addresses in hales street. Does the Banks family mean anything to you?
Regards,
Jo

Jo
My grandmother was Florence Grace Bowman born 5.9.1878 and died 13.5.1930. She lived at 58 Hales Road in 1881.
She was one of nine children of James Bowman and Harriett Ann Taylor. The others were Rosina Grace 1860-1920, Lucy 1862, Harriett A 1964, James 1866, Frederick William 1969-1931, Albert 1872-1952, Ellen Virginia 1876-1956 and Lilian Rose 1880-1958.
I can send you much more if you give me an email address

Thank you Geneius, we have now found the grave actually made contact on here with some cousins who were able to actually take us to it which was wonderful. Sadly they know as much about the loveridges as we do.
I have sent a messages to the creator via your link so maybe they are a relative who can help us.
Many thanks again.

Fingers crossed for you, Jo, that this turns out to be a relative who has further information for you. Wouldn't that be wonderful! Good luck and do let us know how you get on.

Fine, thank you, except for results of Christmas over indulgence! Hope all is well with your family, too. I am still chasing my elusive ggg grandfather's HICKMAN line. Lots of evidence for him post marriage in 1743 but all circumstantial before that date up to now and I can find baptisms of all of his children except the last three which just happens to include my gg grandfather - wouldn't you just know it! There is a period of about 6 years when he and his wife go missing. These ancestors of ours do lead us a merry dance, don't they.
Take care and hope the contact proves fruitful!

I don't know whether this lady is connected to any of your LOVERIDGE's, but on looking through the Peterborough Coroner's Inquests I came upon the following record:
11 December 1849 Ursular LOVERIDGE (aka Ursular SMITH), aged 23, travelling tinkers, cholera at Newbrough
If I remember correctly, weren't the LOVERIDGE & SMITH families connected by marriage? Perhaps Ursula fits in somewhere in those lines. Perhaps one to put on record.
