Looks like we are talking about the same people.
I have
(Alice 1885.) Blanche. Elizabeth. George (Albert 1888.) (Thomas 1876.) and Jack/John

Alice was my grandmother

My 2 x great grandfather was called Thomas William and he had 3 brothers named Edward, George and Albert and sisters named Elizabeth and Alice.

His parents were named Tom William Witherall and Mary Ann Collins.

Did Thomas William, have a daughter "Ida"

Yes, Thomas had a daughter named Ida Rosina who was born in 1906.

I'm not aware of a Blanche or a Jack / John but Thomas William's wife died in 1910 during childbirth it seems and he was in the army and couldn't look after the children so they were sent to Canada with the exceptions of Richard, James and Ida.

I remember Ida. My mother used to take me to visit her when we went to see my grandmother (Alice).
My eldest brother and sister can remember Mary Ann Collins. I will see if they have any other information on her.
I know she was from Tilehurst, but but have no record of her or her husbands parents.
My brother is constructing a family tree from Mary Ann onwards, if you want to get in touch with him let me know.
