Hallo Ronan and welcome to B-G.
My original death information came from an original South African newspaper for 1851, held at the National Archives in London. David's subsequent information came from census returns and the International Genealogical Index (IGI)
Might I suggest that you read about the various sources available here and then post about your own family and what you want to discover in a new thread. If you are not sure which forum to post on, the General Family History Queries board is a good bet, or perhaps, in view of your location and interest in the Fitzpatrick name, the General Irish Queries forum.
Edit: Sorry, I originally thought this was posted on the Starys Forum but now realise it is in the Bedfordshire Forum. Obviously if you are interested in these particular Fitzpatricks, continue on this thread
