I am looking for a marriage of Francis william heyes born 1st aug 1887. A family member tells he his wife was a mary agnes sheridan,I have been told mary came for ireland they had 5 children= Francis william,Granville,Eileen,wilfred and Kenneth, All the children were born in lancashire and lived in Manchester but I dont seem to be able to find any information for them. any help please.

There is a possible candidate in the 1901 census at RG13/3746/28/47 (image copyright TNA)

Francis Heyes 14 a paper stainer, b Salford Lancs
s of William A and Martha
also 2 younger brothers and William A's father.

Will look for the registrations of the marriage and the children (though they could have married in Ireland)

Can't find any obvious candidates for Francis in the 1911 census. Perhaps he was in Ireland meeting Mary

But there are several possibles for Mary Sheridan b Ireland in 1901, so I think you might have to get the marriage cert to confirm her father's name.

Salcat you seem to have all the children and my family is from Salford and this part of the family did move to Manchester. The part of Salford we live in is just across the border from Manchester. Francis William Heyes jnr is my grandfather but I have his date of birth as 15th Dec 1912, all but one of Francis and Mary’s children are now dead unfortunately but any more help would be gratefully received.
