When I read the title, I was thinking it was about the surname "Welsh". Now that I see that it isn't, I will have to depend on others who are able to watch it to tell me what it's about because my welsh ancestors are presenting problems all their own.

Pity I won't be able to get it over here.
As far as I can see, by doing transcripts, the main problem is that until the mid 1800s clerks and vicars didn't have to be able to speak or write Welsh. The spelling is horrendous until the law changed, mostly phonetic. I don't envy anyone doing research of Welsh names or Welsh placenames.

Fascinating about Broomstick weddings, has anyone come across this in their Welsh Ancestry?
