Hi All,
I have, having been handed down through the family a Percussion Flintlock Pistol, which I am currently cleaning as it has been overlooked for a good number of years.
Very interested to know that having had a Riding Officer in the Ancestry and also another Ancestor who was a Customs and Excise Officer, as to whether they may have been issued with a weapon of this sort, which was made in London, but no maker.
I also have its Powder Flask.
Any information would be most welcome and any leads to any web sites would be a great help.
Cheers

There seems to be two stamps on the main body and one on the barrel, the sides of the main body has London with some artistic marks. I'm afraid the stamps are difficult to identify.
