I have 2 Isaac Odgers born in March quarter 1885. One was born in Stithians and one in Redruth.
Can someone tell me how close Stithians is to Redruth?
Thanks
Colin

Hi Nicolina
Thanks for the above and your other post that followed [for 1901]
His is is definitely the Isaac Joseph born June quarter 1884 and son of Isaac and Elizabeth Emily. - nee Uren.
There is a second Isaac born in Redruth March quarter 1885 who may be the son of Joseph Odgers and Elizabeth Ann Dunstone.
A cousin compiled a family tree back in 2000 or earlier stating that Isaac born in January 1885 was the son of Isaac and Elizabeth Emily. She may have been meaning Joseph and Elizabeth Ann.
Both were married in the September quarter 1880 vol. 5c
Joseph and Elizabeth Ann are on page 338
Isaac and Elizabeth Emily are on page 333
Any chance of finding the family of Elizabet Ann and Joseph on the census for 1891 and 1901
Now you may know why I'm confused.
I've lost touch with cousin in the US and am hopeful that someone in the US may be able to tell me the information I'm likely to get on a US marriage certificate
Thanks
Colin

The weddings took place in Redruth and were possibly the same day

there is also another Joseph b. abt. 1869, a Tin Miner born Gwennap, Cornwall, who was a patient at the Miners Hospital, Penventon Terrace, Redruth.
One more that is old enough (probably too old) born in 1826.
