Doesn't look as though anyone replied to you ...... so:
No, it doesn't give any relationship between them - but if it were me I would assume that Jacob was the son of Ann along with Thomas.

Thankyou for replying to my query. Yes, I am going to assume that Jacob was Ann's son, need to find his father,but can't find a marriage or baptism for him. If only I could find him in 1841,that could help, but, boat families may have been anywhere!
Sadly I think I have come to a full stop with this one (so frustrating)
