I am looking for any info on family from Shavington and Wynbunbury. The family names are Austin and Hough. Some of the Austin males were tailors and some worked on the railway, I have found them on census's but was wondering if anyone else is looking at the family names or the area.
Can anyone tell me anything about the area from 1800 onwards?
Thanks.

Hiya Pam.....they`re all recorded (both families) on CPRDb...go to
www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb and then go to database....click on babtisms and type in ....
hough.......613 babtisms the first in Wynbury is 1620
austin.......107 babtisms the first in Wynbury is 1689.....to read this info and understand the dates just follow like this...the first Austin is
WYBU 6890909 AUSTIN ANN...this becomes (1)6890909 ..1689.09.09..
9th september 1689.....then under the heading FULL is a circle and a square..click on BOTH and you then see the recorded details..you will then see that ANNS father is recorded as JOSHUA......a little difficult to navigate at first but you will soon get into it....you are fortunate that Wynbury parish records are ALL recorded......I wish it was my family...lol.....anyway....once you have gone through your babtisms you can then go through the marriages and then the burials..if you need a hand ,let me know, but you should have hours of fun working out your
Austin and Hough families.it`s more fun if you can manage to do it by yourself.....good luck......allan

AUSTIN & HOUGH
You could also search the Cheshire Records Office online Wills Database (http://apps.cheshirewestandchester.g...ts/search.aspx) - there are 3 AUSTIN wills in Shavington and 1 HOUGH will in Wybunbury - don't know if any of them are relevant to you though.

this may be of interest but between Shavington and Wynbunbury is a village called Hough.

Not got very far with this side of family tree. Do you have access to Ancestry public trees? How far back have you got?
