    Default Coatbridge Bowling Club c1906 / 1912

I'm trying to find some information on my grandfather James Paton Allison who was a member of the Coatbridge Bowling Club.
He was an active member of the committee, and organised Smokers' Evenings etc during the winter months. He won a number of trophies and was also presented with a silver conductor's baton by the Glasgow Orpheus Choir, for what I do not know.
    He died in 1912.
    Any info would be appreciated.

    Hello Russ,

The club still exists so why not drop a line to their secretary?

Many thanks, but I've previously been in contact with the Club Secretary and was trying to find if anyone out there could add anything further to what I know.
