Has anyone ever seen this before?

Having found a wonderful transcription online of the Great Bolas PRs, I came across the following entry:

28 Jan 1728 Mrs. Martha Tayleur (an infant) bur.

The baby in question had been bap'd just a few days previously and she is one of mine. But has anyone seen this reference of 'Mrs' to such a young baby before? I know that if girls were of a certain status they can often be entered as 'Mrs' even on their marriage (which causes untold headaches as you can imagine, until you get used to it) - but I really have never seen an infant referred to as 'Mrs' before!

And while on the subject - does anyone know why certain burial entries - again folks of a certain status usually - are accompanied by affidavits in the register? I have had this with a few of my Siddalls in the past. Does anyone know just why an affidavit was brought for a burial?
