I've just discovered one of my ancestors were living in The Dolphin pub, Walmer.
Does anyone know if it is still there and if I could find a photo of it.

Have just googled and found that there was a Walmer Brewery, on the site of the Dolphin pub (Walmer Brewery near Dover)

Hi Pennydog
I saw the article about the Brewery but I think that was about 1826.
My ancestors were there in 1917.

Walmer
Good Morning, Junedye64, have had another look for you again if you google Walmer, you will find a site called Walmer Web, it is the town's own site. Select Local clubs & societies and on there is the Deal branch of the Kent Family History Society. There is a named member with an email contact who may be able to help you in your search.
Hope this is of use.

Googling produced this family tree, which mentions the Dolphin. Might be worth contacting them to see if they know anything about it.
