Pushing his luck

A man and his wife were in bed one night and about 3am there was a knock at the front door.
The man got up went down opened the door to find a bloke there leaning on the the door jamb drunk and soaking wet as it was pouring with rain.
"Could yer givvus a push mate"
"What at this time in the morning", the man said. "No I'm sorry"
And he went back up to bed telling his wife what happened.
The wife told him he was cold hearted and look at the time we broke down in the rain and we had that nice guy help us.
The man replied,"Oh, okay then I'll go and see if he's still there".
He went to the front door and opened it and called out..."Are you still there"?
No answer so he went out and stood in the falling rain getting wet through to his pyjamas.
"Hey, are you still there"?
"Yes" came the answer.
"Where are you then"?
"Oh, over here on the swing"....!!
