Hello,

I am looking for any information about Robert Gregory Absalom. He was b 1903 in Leeds. His parents were Henry Gregory and Ann Absalom from Cramlington, Northumberland.

In 1946 he became the Director of Newport Museum and Art Gallery. He held
this position until 1967. Did he die in office? Was there an obituary printed? Any further information would be appreciated. Thankyou.
